We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team! The job entails handling written discovery, depositions, reviewing records, appearing at court hearings and other matters.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years in litigation experience, will be familiar with billing and entering in time entries, and will be a motivated self starter, however we will consider exceptional applicants who are outside of these parameters.
Applicants with insurance defense experience are preferred.
*Responsibilities:*
* Represent clients in court at law and motion / case management hearings.
* Draft and Review Discovery Responses
* Attend Depositions and Court Proceedings
* Draft various Motions, Oppositions, Replies, including Demurrers, discovery motions and summary judgment motions.
* Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
*Qualifications:*
* California Bar Admission
* 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation
* Familiarity with civil proceedings, law and motions matters, depositions and discovery.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* *Salary $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience*
