*Position Overview:*
Bluestone Law is currently seeking a passionate Paralegal to join our team.
In this role, you will support our attorneys who specialize in representing employees, championing the cause of individuals facing workplace injustices.
You will take on responsibilities such as conducting research, drafting legal documents, managing case files, and maintaining clear communication with clients.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the seamless flow of legal proceedings and contributes to the overall success of our firm.
*Responsibilities: *
* Assist attorney in all stages of litigation and transactional matters.
* Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
* Assist in drafting demands, motions, and complaints.
* Prepare documents for filing with the state and federal court.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and court appearances.
* Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date.
* Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel.
* Draft discovery requests and responses.
* Stay informed about changes in employment law and legal procedures.
*Job Requirements: *
* 4 years of experience as a paralegal in employment law.
* Native Spanish is preferred
* Knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules.
* Proven experience filing in State, Federal, and Appellate courts.
* Proficient in legal case management software and tools (Lawcus is preferred).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Must be organized and detail-oriented.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Paralegal Certificate is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.
00 - $40.
00 per hour
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
