Overview The Art Director, Consumables (Personal Care, Pet, Baby, Household Essentials, Wellness) will support the Walmart Creative Studio in concept through execution for marketing/brand campaigns that will translate across multiple channels including site, email, paid social, and display ads.
Our ideal candidate must be a problem solver, conceptual thinker and able to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
They should be organized, detail-oriented and exhibit outstanding design judgement.
In this role, the AD will oversee a team of designers -validating and directing their day-to-day work while working alongside the Associate Creative Director to ideate on 360 concept development.
This will require them to make conceptual and stylistic decisions by creating layouts, mockups, and pitch decks to illustrate ideas for other members of the team.
This role works collaboratively with other team leads (within creative & cross-functionally) to develop effective and cohesive experiences.
Responsibilities Oversee the design and provide feedback of assets for projects across all user touchpoints-digital, print, and paid social media to ensure they are on brand.
Ideates alongside ACD/CD on 360 concept development and translates to design/photography across all channels.
Create templates and style guides to implement creative vision.
Develop presentation decks for leadership review.
Ability to foster and grow cross-functional relationships, collaborate with partners across orgs and assist in external agency oversight to ensure creative cohesion at every touchpoint.
Manage day to day responsibilities, growth and development of junior staff.
Ability to design branded assets as needed.
Requirements BA in Graphic Design or other relevant education, online portfolio is required.
6+ years of professional design experience in advertising, e-commerce, and production 2+ years of management experience Ability to react quickly and be comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
Proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft Office Photo art direction experience in the consumables/lifestyle space.
Retouching (clipping, extending backgrounds, compositing etc.
) and layout (type, color theory, hierarchy, balance) capabilities.
Understanding of responsive/adaptive design Ability to take direction and work well in a collaborative team environment.
Organized with diligent follow-through on every task.
Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $64,480.
00-$186,000.
00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
