_ _We can’t wait to have you join us on this journey!_ *Sales Associate Job Description* *RESPONSIBILITIES: * *Sales*: Demonstrate Tenshoppe selling standards by modeling behaviors with a passion for the brand, customer, and the product.
Deliver results in their role that contribute to the store’s sales goals.
*Brand Experience/Customer Service:* Exemplify an optimistic and energetic presence through team collaboration while building strong relationships with customers to maximize loyalty and build brand recognition.
Provide solutions and inspiration to shoppers through customer care.
*Creating a Compelling Store Environment:* Ensure product is always available to the customer and presented in a compelling way that showcases latest trends.
Ensure the store is consistently customer-ready: recovered throughout the day and at closing in your assigned areas.
Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors.
*Working with the Team*: Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve objectives and sales results.
Provide support to fellow employees through sharing of knowledge, helping to complete tasks, and/or assisting in customer interactions.
Maintain a positive attitude- staying flexible to changing needs of the customer and the business.
*Effective & Efficient Processing*: Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with established cash control procedures and customer service guidelines.
Execute efficient and effective handling of all merchandise from shipment processing, product moves and floorsets, to markdowns.
*Loss Prevention, Safety, and Compliance*: Adhere to policies and procedures, standards and practices, and company directives.
Protect company assets.
Comply with company safety, security, and shrink avoidance policies and programs.
Report any and all concerns to management.
*Brand Representative:* Embody Tenshoppe standards of personal expression through style.
Encourage Social Media engagement through customer satisfaction by consistency and diligence in performance.
Occasional participation, as directed by Management, in community &/or mall happenings.
*Professional Conduct*: Model behavior that respects the background, experience, and cultural differences of others, while upholding the integrity and values of Tenshoppe.
*QUALIFICATIONS: * * Previous retail experience preferred; customer service experience required * Strong verbal and written communication skills specifically with customers, sales leadership team, and associates * Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team * Ability to receive feedback and act on it when appropriate * Available to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays * Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast‐paced and deadline‐oriented environment * Proficient with technology * Knowledge and passion for current fashion trends *Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:* * Able to stand and move about for extended periods of time with only short rest breaks * Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds as needed *Job Type:* * Part Time: 15-35 hours weekly * Hourly Pay starting at $15 *Benefits:* * Store Discount Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $16.
