We are in search of an Experienced Attorneys to join our Dynamic workers’ compensation and employment law Défense firm.
The Responsibilities and Requirements of the Ideal candidate are as follows:
Primary Responsibilities:
• Supervising a comprehensive caseload encompassing workers' compensation cases, ranging in complexity from initiation through to resolution, including settlement, trial, and/or appeal stages.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents necessary for case progression.
• Collaborating with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather evidence and prepare for hearings, trials, or settlement negotiations.
• Representing clients in administrative hearings, mediation sessions, and court proceedings as required.
• Maintaining accurate case records, deadlines, and billing information in accordance with firm protocols and legal requirements.
• Staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents related to workers' compensation law through continuous legal education and professional development.
Experience and Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation Défense along with active membership in the State Bar Association with a clean standing.
• Demonstrated capability to autonomously manage a substantial caseload, spanning from 60-80 files, or more if preferred.
• Exhibiting a keen interest in engaging directly with clients of the firm to foster and cultivate personal connections, with the goal of establishing and expanding one's own clientele.
• Displaying proficiency in working both independently and cooperatively, with a commitment to continual growth and enhancement, while actively seeking and providing mentorship to contribute to the development of future cohorts within the organization.
• Preference for familiarity with Entertainment, Sports, Public Entities, Self-Insured Employers, and PEO and General/Special employers, although not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000.
