Reports to: Public Safety Management
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees day to day operation of Loss Prevention Department and Staff.
Responsible for recruiting, hiring and training Loss Prevention staff and agents.
Collect and evaluate accounting documentation to identify and track suspected losses.
Conduct procedural audits in all departments to verify compliance with Park Operating Procedures.
Analyze investigative data for witness and offender interviews and documentation.
Conduct interviews with employees who have unexplained variances and/or violations of policy.
Conduct Pre-Employment Background interviews.
Conduct sting operations, electronic surveillance and preventative theft.
Asset protection and inventory control.
Investigate credit card fraud, bad checks and counterfeit currency.
Conduct shoplifting surveillance and shoplifter detention.
Investigate scalping activity and evasion cases.
Assist with surveillance equipment as needed to include CCTV installation and maintenance.
Give presentations at both Park and Department orientations regarding Loss Prevention.
Assist in the maintenance of the department’s expense, labor, and capital budgets.
Responsible for the cleanliness of Public Safety Offices and areas of responsibility.
Review and oversee Civil Demands and Restitution programs.
Other duties as assigned by Public Safety Management

Must be detail oriented, highly motivated, and self-sufficient.
Must understand the position requires professional cooperation during investigations that may involve personal acquaintances or friends.
Ability to prioritize, manage projects and meet deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, holidays and weekends.
Must be available for at least 4 shifts per week unless approved for time-off.
Must be detail oriented, highly motivated, and self-sufficient.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School diploma or GED; some college credit desired.
Able to pass a thorough background screen including criminal background checks.
Previous Loss Prevention or Public Safety experience desired.
Previous Leadership experience desired.
Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
