*Position Summary:*
Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products or processes meet established quality standards and specifications.
They perform inspections, tests, and evaluations to identify any deviations or non-conformities and work closely with the production team to address and resolve quality issues.
The QA Inspector verifies all production components are manufactured in accordance with job instructions to customer-provided drawings and specifications.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
• Inspection and Testing: Responsible for verifying product acceptability by conducting incoming inspection and testing against specifications.
Ensure calibration of necessary equipment is up to date.
Issue recall notification to management if needed.
• Non-Conformity Identification: Identify nonconforming products and processes per documented procedures / work instructions.
• Quality Control: Utilize customer provided drawing and specs along with the included route sheet to determine production requirements.
Ensure components cosmetically meet customer provided drawings and specifications.
Ensure components dimensions meet customer provided drawings and specifications.
Ensure all production processes have been completed as required.
• Compliance and Auditing: Ensure all trace ability documents meet customer provided specifications.
Ensure marking is complete and accurate or complete marking as required.
• Documentation and Reporting: Complete internal non-conformance reports as required.
*Qualifications:*
• Must be able to follow and interpret specifications for a wide variety of products.
• Measurements taken with the gauges/instruments are vital for making conclusions to meeting the specifications.
• Conform to safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Able to read blueprints and verify dimensional data using various inspection equipment such as calipers, go/no gauges, tape measures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office i.
e.
, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Good organizational and communication skills and ability to multitask.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Bilingual
*Education and Experience*
• Two years of Electronic Contract Manufacturing experience preferred.
*Physical Demands:*
• Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods, and occasionally and safely lift up to 25lbs.
• Visual acuity necessary to identify defects, read labels, and interpret specifications or measurement values accurately.
• Must show proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment within the department.
*Work Environment:*
The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud due to cleaning tools and other surrounding machinery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.
00 - $20.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
