Sr.
Manager, Sales Forecasting and Analytics West Hills, CA (Hybrid) The Sr.
Manager of Sales Forecasting and Analytics will optimize and oversee the sales forecast process and consolidation of the retailer demand forecasts to maximize sales, profit and share.
This role’s impact will be improving accuracy and analytics supporting our key business decisions and P&L via analytics and S&OP cadence.
This role includes responsibility for advancing our forecasting and data infrastructure management processes and the primary partner with commercial, finance, IT and supply chain.
The Sr.
Manager of Sales Forecasting and Analytics reports to DVP, Sales Strategy and Operations.
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include: Sales Forecast Management Sales Forecast Process Lead: Owner of Sales development and overarching POS forecast process in collaboration with Demand Planning, Commercial partners and Finance to optimize and set principles for Sales Planning forecast across all channels to ensure continuous forecast accuracy improvement.
Own and lead sales process development for forecast accuracy improvement through analytics and operational structure.
Develop operational agility through integration of tools and methodologies to be leveraged across sales customers to improve efficiencies in forecasting.
Owns development and implementation of strategic policies and issue resolution for sales forecasting Deliver on commercial strategies through partnership with marketing, supply chain, finance and customer team input.
Represents Sales Forecast and key choices with Pharmavite cross-functional leadership Forecasting Analytics Performance Optimization: Scout for avenues to elevate the efficacy of data workflows, embedding best practices and pioneering techniques.
Business Drivers Analytics: Guide and partner with sales teams on explorative data analyses to discover patterns and trends, thereby fostering actionable business intelligence.
Data Optimization: Partner with Consumer Insights support harmonizing and democratizing new or under-utilized data sources and reporting (ad-hoc or dashboarding).
Collaboration: Engage actively with cross-functional units, analysts, data scientists, and key business stakeholders to fulfill their data-centric needs.
Data Governance: Uphold the gold standards of data quality, security, and governance, ensuring compliance with pertinent regulations and maintaining data privacy.
Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging trends in data analytics, visualization tools, and platforms like Alteryx, and infuse fresh ideas and best practices into the team.
You’ll be most successful in this role if you have: 3-5 years of forecast and demand planning for a customer or in a centralized role Experience in retail business analytics including translating data to actionable business recommendations Strong advanced data management and analytical skills with the flexibility to learn new systems and platforms.
