The Product/Project Marketing Manager will be responsible for three main areas of focus.
What You'll Do: Product Management: Responsible for understanding the customer, market trends, and competition to effectively position, launch, and promote products in the market.
Product Strategy: Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
Requirements Gathering: Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements.
Product Development: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to design, develop, test, and launch products that align with the defined requirements and goals.
Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competition, and user requirements to ensure product relevance and competitive positioning.
Product Marketing: the execution of the Enterprise’s team product marketing initiatives which includes, but is not limited to, product launches, website launches, craft compelling messaging and work with the broader marketing team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
Serve as Product Owner by developing positioning strategies based on market insights, ensuring the product stands out in the market.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive go-to-market plan for product launches or updates.
Market Intelligence: Be the expert on the customers; understand the competitive landscape and gather insights to inform product and marketing strategies.
Content Creation: Develop product messaging and content that resonates with the target audience, including sales materials, website content, blog posts, case studies, videos, and more.
Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the necessary tools and training to sell the product effectively, including presentations, sales collateral, and FAQs.
Product Launch: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate product launches and ensure successful product introduction in the market.
Demand Generation: Work with the demand generation team to design and implement marketing campaigns that drive product awareness and adoption.
Project Management: Responsible for planning, managing, executing, and finalizing Enterprise driven projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts between all internal and external stakeholders.
The Product Marketing Manager will oversee the tactical planning, management, and execution of B2B marketing projects for each brand within the commercial space.
Build a process to ensure all requirements are documented, actionable, measurable, testable, traceable, defined with sufficient details, and related to brand goals and overall business needs.
Responsible for building workflows to increase team efficiency and enhancing collaboration between cross-functional teams and marketing team members.
Develop and implement change requests on marketing projects in conjunction with team members.
What You'll Have: 4-6 + years of experience in Product Management in a CPG or SMB.
Is experienced with and passionate about B2B Marketing.
Is experienced with product strategy, product roadmaps, brand plan development, and implementation.
Experience with PM tools (JIRA, Asana, Wrike, etc.
) required.
Must be a decision-maker and authoritative to direct all stakeholders toward goals and timelines.
Proactive, cross-functional team player who can pivot and adapt quickly.
Is a key contributor and cross functional collaborator in developing the marketing and brand product strategies, execution plans.
Is effective in communicating with and involving key stakeholders.
Excellent analytical skills and judgement and is accountable for optimizing every aspect of the P&L and success metrics.
The role requires a highly motivated and confident self-starter with strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm.
Strong entrepreneurial ability to work around obstacles, results driven, and a bias for action with a pilot/learn/scale approach.
