The Cunard Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid summer internship opportunity designed to provide exposure and insight to professional careers in the amazing leisure travel, cruise industry.
The selected interns will work on departmental projects as well as participate in professional development and enrichment activities.
This is a hybrid work schedule, the role will be based in our Santa Clarita, CA office.
2024 Program Dates (two options) Program runs 10 weeks from June 10th - August 16th or June 17th - August 23rd.
Eligibility Eligible candidates are enrolled in a four-year accredited undergraduate program (where they are at least a rising junior) and have a GPA of 3.
0 or higher.
MUST NOT be a graduating senior in the summer 2024.
Compensation Undergraduate Student - $25.
00/hr Intern Opportunity – Trade Marketing The intern will assist to project manage the Cunard Academy online courses for Cunard North America, including working with internal stakeholders and the head UK office stakeholders to source edit and publish new content via Content Management System and implement content product updates, as well as test and develop successful trade marketing campaigns and contests to drive course enrollment and completion.
Review current platform training content for accuracy, brand tone of voice and updated visual identity Update training content within Articulate 360 platform Concept promotional ideas, such as contests or other engagement tools to increase participation and training completion Collaborate with Trade Marketing Specialist and Business Development Managers to devise enhancements to training using email marketing and social outreach (Sales Facebook page) Research competitive training programs and trends, develop and conduct Travel Advisor surveys, and compile/report on results Develop video content to promote Academy Assess promotion of Commodore Corner – testimonial interviews with Advisors who have achieved Commodore status to help promote Academy benefits Requirements Proficiency using MS office Suite including Outlook & MS Teams Ability to work independently, remotely and self-manage Well organized and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
The types of duties the students will perform will vary and may require some technical tasks, projects and/or work that may require specific proficiencies, technical abilities and/or computer skills.
