Massage Heights in Sherman Oaks is seeking a Spa Manager/Director that reports directly to the franchise owner and manages the daily operations of the Retreat.
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Retreat Director are to lead the team in member acquisition, ensure exceptional guest service and build team-member culture.
This position is responsible for achieving retreat goals, employee, and maintaining operational standards according to Massage Heights policies, procedures, and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
· Adhere and align the team and Retreat to our brand values and standards.
· Achieve Retreat goals regarding membership sales and retention.
· Supporting and train the brand’s mission, core values and standards.
· Directly supervise and be accountable for all aspects of retreat operations.
· Accountable for driving revenue and profitability through inventory management and consistency through services.
· Recruit, hire, train, develop and retain employees.
· Participate in all corporate initiatives including monthly calls, training, and other culture programs.
· Create and manage team member schedules for optimal retreat performance.
· Set individual team member goals, retreat goals; create plans and convert plans into action to meet and exceed goals.
· Conduct the necessary marketing activities to drive leads.
· Develop partnerships with local businesses in your area.
Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years membership-based service and/or retail management experience.
· Experience managing hourly wage employees.
· Self-starter with strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Able to build and sustain a positive employee culture.
· Experience in training, coaching, and conflict resolution.
· Working knowledge of computers and standard software.
· Basic business math skills.
· Financial and P&L experience.
· Available to work weekends and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications
· Practical knowledge working with Zenoti or other Spa POS software systems.
· Understanding of spa environment and massage and skincare services.
· Experience working in a franchise model.
