*This is for our AmeriHome Mortgage Division*
AmeriHome Mortgage is seeking a Closer that has a strong background in preparing and coordinating all final loan documentation for loan closings such as drawing loan documents, auditing loan files and lock confirmations, reviewing loan documents for funding and regulatory compliance, preparing collateral disclosures for shipment to investors, reviewing funding conditions, initiating funding requests with warehouse banks and communicating final funding figures to escrow.
*What you will do:*
* Audit file for completeness and accuracy to ensure compliance with underwriting, government, investor, and company guidelines
* Current knowledge of TRID with the ability to calculate fee tolerance cures and determine proper waiting periods
* Prepare CD and coordinate a closing date with the processor
* Confirm all prior-to-doc conditions are met and signed off by appropriate parties before releasing loan documents
* Prepare loan documents and ensure the closing package is complete, fees accurate, and fully compliant
* Review the signed closing package for accuracy
* Ensure all prior-to-funding conditions are met and properly signed off
* Approve closing agent’s settlement statement
* Responsible for preparing and verifying final funding figures
* Prepare wire request for funding and provide settlement agent with funding authorization
* Post-closing duties may include confirming recording/disbursement, preparing collateral package, MERS registration, exporting 3.
2 DU file, curing post-closing deficiencies, reconciling final settlement statement and preparing post-closing CD, if needed
*What you need to have:*
* High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
* Minimum of 6 years of recent *RETAIL *residential closing/funding experience
* Conventional and Government loan experience required
* Thorough knowledge of TRID and RESPA LE/CD requirements
* Strong aptitude for detail, accuracy, and organization
* Ability to prioritize and multitask with ease
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a high-volume environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.
