Seeking 2 guitarists for a pop/punk, alternative band based in Tarzana and Simi Valley.
We are a singer who also plays guitar but prefers to just sing, a bassist, and a drummer.
We are currently working on an album and have 5 songs pretty much done and a ton more ideas on the way.
Think of the sound of The Story So Far in What You Don't See, songs like Empty Space.
We also like lots of other bands and are open to trying different things.
The Story So Far, Foo Fighters, Billy Talent, My Chemical Romance, early-mid 30 Seconds to Mars, Yellowcard, Young the Giant, Neck Deep-ish, the list goes on.
We need two guitarists.
I (our singer) is in the process of building a recording studio in my garage.
I have a drum kit, practice space, Marshall amps, Orange amps, Fenders and Voxes.
I have a ton of recording gear.
Neumann mics, royers, tons more, neve compressors, ssl eq's.
We want to record the album here in my studio.
I have years of engineering experience and we can do everything for free with my gear and have all
the time we want to write and practice.
We want to release our album, play shows, and tour.
That's my dream with this band and in life in general.
I'll post a few songs that have drum samples on them (not our drummer, just some basic ideas) to give you an idea of the genre and style, but we want to try many different things in the pop/punk genre.
These are just demos to give you an idea of the genre, although I want to try some other things out.
