Gorgeous Translucent Red Super Strat - w/Floyd Rose, upgraded pickups! - $225 (Newhall)

Seriously, a strong, rocking guitar with a Floyd Rose for less than $300??? Yup! Comes in original box - Harley Benton Super Strat with some quality upgrades! Beautiful red wood grain shows through, and this is a fairly lightweight and comfortable guitar.
The stock Alnico-5 pickups were ok-ish (lacked some warmth and were a little shrill) so I swapped them out for some rich, warm Alnico-2 zebra pickups.
So much smoother and fatter, they're a great blend of vintage and modern tones.
I also upgraded the knobs with abalone gold knobs and even installed CTS pots and an Orange Drop capacitor.
Its looks alone are awesome: The grain of the carved-top, ST-shape basswood body is on proud display through the translucent red color.
The hardware – from the machine heads through to the screws of the twin humbuckers' pickup rings – is gold-plated.
The two new Alnico-2 pickups pack a powerful punch, and the Floyd Rose tremolo lets you rock out in style.
