In the late 1950s, BSA was going head-to-head with Triumph for domination of the long, grueling California desert races and TT scrambles.
The result was BSA creating the awesome A10 650cc Spitfire Scrambler, one of the most badass-looking and sounding bikes to ever charge across the desert.
They came from the factory like this—lots of chrome and polished alloy, gorgeous paint scheme, wicked upswept pipes and no lights or instruments.
Most were ridden hard (very hard!) and put away wet, finally disappearing into crates and as donors for other bikes over the decades.
They are a rare breed indeed!
This one was professionally and thoroughly rebuilt and restored to its former showroom gleam and glory.
It starts easily, runs great.
I just did an oil change on it.
See "Cold Start" video, as well as the "Walkaround" video here.
While I doubt anyone would take this magnificent, 400-lb beast and blast it across the desert today, it would be a blast just to look at it in your garage, office or living room! Or put a battery and lights on it and make it the meanest Dual Sport machine around!
Never registered for the street.
Sold on Bill of Sale.
Serious only.
Scammers, do not waste your time or mine—I know who you are!
