2008 Buell xb12r firebolt 25th anniversary edition - $2,000 (Simi Valley)

Bike was crashed by the previous owner shortly after he bought it new and he never rode it again.
I bought it 2 years ago intending to customize it in a way that didn’t use the damaged plastics anyway.
Instead of doing that I had 2 kids and never did anything.
It has 547 miles on it.
The plastics are all scratched the levers and pegs are broken, the turn signals are missing, the bracket holding the fairing is broken on one side, the rims are dented and the front rim does not hold air, the bracket that holds the seat down is broken.
The motor, frame, and suspension are all fine.
Bike starts and runs and I’ve ridden it recently.
No leaks.
I just had to put air in the front tire first.
I can send a video of it running if you would like.
I recently changed the oil in the motor and transmission and added fresh fuel.
It does not rev smoothly but the previous owner said he used the Bluetooth fuel mapping to mess with mapping so he thinks he tuned it too rich but that can be fixed with an app on your phone.

All together for the price of a rim, some lights, levers, and some tuning you can do from your phone you could have a functionally great bike with very low miles.
