The ideal candidate would be confident in proper animal handling and restraint, rooming patients, assisting the technicians and veterinarians, helping with surgical recovery, drawing blood, and understanding the importance of client education and is a positive and supportive team player.

We just finished expanding but are currently in the middle of remodeling.
We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant who can help us as a team and is motivated to learn.
We strive to provide the best care for our patients by working seamlessly with each other.
Experience is required.
**Pay depending on experience: $18.
00 - $24.
00 an hour** Requirements: Must be comfortable with client communication, or open to developing this skill.
Handle animals with care IV catheter placement Venipuncture and performing in-house blood work (Idexx) Obtaining radiographs Prepare patients for surgery Obtain urine samples via cystocentesis Will assist a technician with appointments and treatments Provide demonstrations for owners (ie.
