Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

*May Oral Surgery *is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team! We have full-time and part-time positions available.
We are a rapidly growing private practice offering a friendly environment along with top-of-the-line equipment.
*Job Responsibilities:* * Obtaining and documenting dental health history and insurance benefits benefits.
* Conducting routine examinations, taking patient vital signs and collecting data such as for blood pressure, pulse and temperature.
* Assessing patient oral health problems, recommending appropriate treatment and evaluating their ability to perform tasks requiring oral care.
* Educating patients and their family members on disease prevention and healthy living guidelines * Using dental instruments and equipment including x-ray room, chair lift, manual chair lift, etc.
* Communicating with patients' doctors Dentists dentists' assistants in a friendly manner to increase patient satisfaction * Preparing dental work for patients in the office or at their home * Taking x-rays or impressions of teeth for treatment or planning ahead for future treatments based on lab results * Following infection control procedures * Setting up and maintaining the office's dental supply inventory and ordering supplies when needed.
* Maintaining appropriate documentation of patient care records.
* Controlling inventory by keeping lab supplies on order, checking with dentist to determine when supplies are needed, etc.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:* ·Must be able to pass drug screen, background check and state license check.
·High School Diploma or equivalent.
·Knowledge of dental hygiene or other related fields preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $64.
00 - $70.
