LVN Field Nurse

Duties: * Collecting vital information from patients * Gathering information about health complaints * Changing wound dressings * Removing stitches * Explaining prescriptions * Assisting patients with tasks such as getting dressed and walking or using a walking aid * Inspecting the assigned patient’s room environment for any possible dangers or hazards * Providing various health care interventions at home * Providing health education to patients, families and caregivers living with the patient regarding the patient’s current status and health needs.
Qualifications: - Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of CA - Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile processing procedures - Experience with administration of medications, including IM - Familiarity with electronic medical record systems - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
