We are seeking Licensed Vocational/Professional Nurses to join our team and provide support to individuals struggling with substance abuse.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the healthcare and wellbeing of customers served.

This position will provide recovery focused healthcare services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the Health Care Practitioner.
This position will be responsible to provide safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
RESPONSBILITIES:
Provide nursing care and assist in the pre-admission, admission, treatment, and discharge process for residents.
Transcribe and communicate physician orders accurately and in a timely manner to stakeholders as appropriate.
Observe and document the self-administration of medication as per company policies and procedures.
Accurately assess degree of detoxification by utilizing clinically appropriate diagnostic methods such as CIWA and COWS to monitor status of residents.
Respond to emergencies and initiate action as outlined in company policies and procedures.
Maintain communication with supervisor, Health Care Practitioner, and/or other key staff regarding resident care, including but not limited to shift reports, emergent/non-emergent issues, resident needs.
Perform necessary duties for monitoring the health status (i.
e.
vitals, rounds, wellness checks, assessment tools) of residents per company policies and procedures.
Provide personnel with necessary training and devise strategies and plans for the nursing department.
Ensure resident and staff compliance with facility rules and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Current LVN/LPN License in the state of Ca
1 years’ clinical nursing experience, preferably in substance abuse treatment.
2+ years of supervisory experience.
CPR and First Aid certification required.
COMPETENCIES:
Advanced knowledge of HIPAA
Proficient knowledge of chemical dependency and psychological disorders
Knowledge of detoxification protocol and related care including symptoms and medications (including CIWA and COWS)
Ability to accurately record information and prepare reports.
Ability to properly support residents with self-administration of medications
Ability to properly conduct appropriate medical assessments
Ability to navigate the company’s EHR system
Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office other environmentally controlled room.
