*What We Are Looking for in the Ideal Candidate* We are seeking an experienced Pipette Calibration Technician to join our growing company.
A high degree of organizational ability and communication are essential to the position.
MQC has multiple laboratories that each focus on specific discipline (i.
e.
dimensional tools, dimensional measurements, pressure, torque, force, compression, tensions, flow, threaded, non-threaded, mass, scales, pipettes and more).
*Responsibilities:* * Pipette Calibration: Execute precise and accurate calibration procedures on various types of pipettes, including but not limited to micropipettes, multichannel pipettes, and positive displacement pipettes, using advanced equipment and methodologies.
* Testing and Analysis: Conduct performance tests on pipettes, analyze results, and identify discrepancies or deviations from established standards.
* Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate calibration records, including calibration certificates, test data, and any adjustments made during the calibration process.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and company policies throughout the calibration process.
* Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on calibration equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs as needed.
* Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement and enhance quality control measures in the calibration process.
* Communication: Effectively communicate calibration results and findings to internal teams and clients, providing technical support as necessary.

*What you will be doing: * * Calibrate primary, secondary and working precision measurement equipment * Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of precision equipment * Prepare calibration reports and certificates * Adapt existing calibration equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurements tasks _*All calibration is to be performed in accordance with NIST traceable standards.
MQC is A2LA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.
3-2006 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994*_.
*Requirements and Skills:* * Proven experience in Calibration Laboratories * Exceptional attention to detail while producing error-free work product * Proven experience working under ISO 17025 Quality Assurance _strongly preferred_ * Able to effectively communicate with all team members / all levels * Great organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities * Local travel may be required to perform on-site calibration at the customer facility * Lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance may be required * Problem-solving- and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines * U.
