Associate Dentist

```Job Overview``` We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental practice.
As an Associate Dentist, you will provide quality dental care to our patients and assist in maintaining their oral health.

```Duties``` - Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning - Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals - Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe dental environment ```Qualifications``` - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Valid state dental license in good standing - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Proficiency in medical terminology, medical records, and dental office procedures - Familiarity with medical documentation systems such as Epic - Experience in digital radiography and other dental imaging techniques - Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate patients on oral health - Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on the latest advancements in dentistry Preferred Qualifications: - Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry - Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures Join our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional dental care.
