* Encino Children's Surgery Center (ECSC) is seeking a Registered Nurse with dental experience to join our team in Encino, CA.
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and compassionate nurse with a strong dental background and a commitment to patient-centered care.
*Responsibilities:*
* Assist with pre-operative preparations, including patient assessment, medication administration, and education
* Monitor patients during procedures, including vital signs, sedation, and pain management
* Assist with post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and discharge planning
* Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support throughout the surgical process
* Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
* Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes
* Participate in quality improvement activities to promote excellence in patient care
*Qualifications:*
* Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric dentistry or related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to dental surgery
* Experience with electronic medical records and other clinical technologies
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
