In-Line Quality Assurance Manager

What you'll do:
The ILQA Manager will lead a team of In-Line Quality Assurance Analysts (ILQA) within the Correspondent Lending (CL) and Credit Ops LOBs who are responsible for the in-line review of loans from non-delegated to file delivery through purchase decision.
The candidate must possess a thorough working knowledge of residential lending programs and practices and demonstrate the ability to partner with each of the mortgage operations teams and departments to oversee loan review accuracy and issue remediation in a timely manner.
The individual will be expected to minimize risk by maintaining a high level of regulatory and procedural compliance.
The successful candidate must also be highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, organized and passionate about growing a business in a team.
What we are looking for:
What You Will Do:
Manage a production team of 10-12 analysts focused on preforming discretionary, special and required audits, ensuring productivity, timeliness, and quality expectation goals are met.
Analyze data metrics, provide reporting on findings and assist with recommendations as to appropriate corrective action or gap-related solutions.
Ensure data integrity between documents and systems.
Meet with operations managers on a monthly basis to review findings and promote issue remediation and quality improvement.
Keep abreast of all company policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulatory changes
Achieve a minimum of 96% Productivity, 90% Quality, 95% completion within SLA
Work on special projects as needed.
What You Will Need:
A background in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Underwriting and/or Processing of residential mortgage loans.
Must be a self-starter and self motivated to meet job expectations and goals
Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to use good judgment
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking, paperless environment and to manage multiple deadlines
Clear and effective communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
(Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
Robust mortgage industry experience is highly desirable
Proficiency in all areas of loan documentation, loan policies/guidelines, and procedures understanding of current mortgage lending
Ability to identify and solve problems with strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
Ability to build and develop strong teams
Mortgage Leadership: 2-5 years
Mortgage: 5+ years
TRID: 3 years preferred
Encompass: 1-3 years preferred
Auditing: 1-3 years
Education
4-year college or graduate degree
Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $72,764.
00 - $89,885.
00 for Westlake Village, CA.
Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
