Location/Division Specific Information Unity Lab Services is a business segment that supports the Customer Channels Group and provides critical outsourced on-site services at customer locations.
This position is based out of South San Francisco, CA.
Discover Impactful Work: This position is passionate about service delivery excellence within Unity Lab Services! Specific activities relative to the job function include: order entry/management, operating customer procurement systems, chemical handling/evaluation, and routine chemical inventory.
A day in the Life: Receive, register, process, assess quality of and prepare chemicals for routine delivery and perform monthly inventory of chemicals and gas cylinders.
Receive, register, dispense, and acquire used controlled substances.
Receive and test radiation packages by means of a Geiger counters.
Uses customer inventory system to place chemical orders and ensures all highly hazardous materials undergo an in person transfer.
Liaises with the waste management operations and shipping/receiving department to add & remove chemicals to facility to embrace safety culture.
Serves as the first point of contact for any chemical matters or concerns, including chemical quality and Service Level Agreements.
Assist in Flow Cytometry start up procedures.
Keys to Success: Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Ability to present and articulate points by verbal and written communications.
2-3 years of dynamic proven experience in applicable field with GXP experience preferred.
Ability to establish and champion positive customer relationships.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach in all duties.
Demonstrate expertise in the ability to identify inefficiencies in any process and make recommendations for improvement.
Detail oriented, technically proficient, organized, problem solver, promotes team environment.
Willingness to work overtime as the need arises.

Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $21.
