The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and tracking all project activities.
These may vary from small R&D tasks to large scale production equipment.
The Project Manager will coordinate with the Engineering, Production, and Procurement teams to deliver an integrated and functional solution.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to ensure project schedules, requirements, and costs are met.
Assist with identifying project issues, coordinate relevant support, and track progress of resolutions.
Manage customer interactions including customer acceptance, satisfaction, change orders, and communication.
Prepare and deliver status reports, schedules, action item lists, and resource utilization reports
Proactively coordinate with Engineers on ECOs, NCRs, or other technical roadblocks
Develop processes, procedures, and documentation for Project Management activities
Conduct post-project evaluations with project stakeholders
Create, monitor, and respond to relevant project metrics
Record, manage, and communicate meeting minutes and other project notes
Minimum Required Experience:
Demonstrated talent and track record in Project Management including experience and understanding of formal project management methodologies.
Experience managing interdisciplinary teams
Strong leadership skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent note keeping and organization skills
Broad knowledge of engineering and production processes and industry best practices.
Experience interfacing and managing customers
3+ years in a Project Management role
Preferred Experience:
Experience managing projects related to custom automation and machine building.
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field.
PMP Certification
Familiarity with controls and software concepts
Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Project PWA
