*Who We Want* We are seeking an experienced Fulfillment Manager to lead our Pick, Pack, and Shipping team and ensure the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders.
The Fulfillment Manager will play a critical role in optimizing our order fulfillment operations, managing a team of dedicated professionals, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
*What You’ll Do* Responsibilities: *Team Leadership:* * Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Pick, Pack, and Shipping associates.
* Set performance goals and expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
* Foster a collaborative and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
*Order Fulfillment:* * Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, from order receipt to shipping.
* Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped on time.
* Implement and maintain best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy in fulfillment operations.
*Inventory Management:* * Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
* Collaborate with the Inventory Control team to conduct regular audits and maintain accurate inventory records.
*Quality Assurance:* * Implement quality control measures to ensure orders meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
* Investigate and resolve any order discrepancies or customer complaints related to fulfillment.
*Process Improvement:* * Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
* Develop and implement new processes or technologies to enhance fulfillment efficiency.
*Vendor and Carrier Relationships:* * Manage relationships with third-party vendors and shipping carriers(LTL and Parcel carriers).
* Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to optimize shipping costs.
*Reporting and Analysis:* * Generate regular reports on fulfillment metrics and KPIs.
* Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, then implement corrective actions as needed.
*Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
* Proven experience in fulfillment and warehouse management, ideally in an e-commerce environment.
* Experience working with ERP’s * Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using Order management systems (WMS) and related software.
* Knowledge of logistics, shipping, and inventory management best practices.
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving e-commerce environment.
* Travel may be required.
