Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Penny Lane Clinic Regional Director, the Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) Clinical Supervisor assumes overall clinical responsibility for the TBS Program.
The TBS Clinical Supervisor ensures that the treatment provided is consistent with Penny Lane philosophy and meets the current standards for quality of care, medical necessity and other requirements as defined by L.
A.
County Department of Mental Health.
The TBS Clinical Supervisor is accountable for staff development and performance improvement, and for promoting appropriate and effective care through established monitoring systems and professional staff growth.
The TBS Clinical Supervisor is an organized, flexible, and clinically astute professional who uses a strength-based approach to manage all aspects of their TBS team.
They are able to motivate TBS Specialists and TBS Coordinators to perform their daily tasks with clinical and ethical excellence, while protecting the liability of Penny Lane.
The individual in this positon must be able to provide support and guidance to the TBS Coordinator, and provide timely responses to requests and deadlines.
The TBS Clinical Supervisor is effective at teaching the fundamentals of behavioral modification and effective clinical documentation, and translates clinical knowledge into practical behavioral modification interventions suitable for the scope of the TBS Specialists.
They are highly skilled in communication and do so professionally with caregivers, County personnel, external mental health agencies and community partners, school personnel, and departments within Penny Lane.
Requirements:
Education – A minimum of a Master's Degree in the behavioral health field.
Must be licensed – One of the following: Psychologist, LCSW, or LMFT.
Completed coursework on Clinical Supervision of ASWs, AMFTs and APCCs to meet the 15 hour BBS mandated training requirement.
Experience – One year experience post licensure preferred in the behavioral health field working with children, adolescents and families.
Some supervisory experience preferred.
Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.
Position Location: North Hills, CA
Salary Range: $82,000 up to $94,682 per year
Eligible employees may request up to 5 days of Paid Time Off to study for their licensure.
