We will expand knowledge of regenerative farming practices through implementation and experimentation, then sharing our experiences with others through digital and in person demonstrations.
*The Position*
We are seeking a Permaculture Expert to join our team and help develp a 4 acre permaculture / educational farm in a beautiful Malibu setting.
The person in this role will play a dynamic role in initial stages of buildout, then overseeing the day-to-day operations and long-term success of the farm.
Food from the farm will support local soup kitchens and food banks to help those in need.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Crop Management:
* Plan and oversee organic/regenerative/biodynamic planting, harvesting, crop rotation, and composting.
* · Monitor and manage irrigation, fertilization, and pests.
* Help develop and manage the farm's budget.
* Management and development of farm personnel.
* Maintain accurate records of inputs, crop yields, and financial transactions.
* Prepare reports for management or regulatory purposes.
*Qualifications*
1.
Experience in eco-based organic agriculture/agronomy
2.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
3.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4.
Proficiency in record-keeping and financial management.
6.
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and carry out strenuous activities typical of farm work
7.
Bilingual Spanish/English a strong plus
8.
Must have own transportation.

Negotiable depending on skill level and experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40,000.
00 - $60,000.
