Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving, storage, and distribution
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize errors
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and perform regular audits to identify discrepancies
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Collaborate with procurement team to procure necessary materials and supplies
- Monitor and optimize freight costs and transportation routes
- Implement process improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations
- Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, orders, and shipments
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations management
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices
- Familiarity with transportation management systems and distribution center operations
- Proficient in using warehouse management software and other relevant computer systems
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
