Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (DS) sector is seeking a Sr.
Manager, Global Supply Chain (M3) for the Advanced Weapons Business Unit.
The location for this opportunity is onsite at Northridge, CA.
The selected candidate will be a high performing, experienced supply chain leader who is goal-oriented and well equipped to partner with a wide range of internal stakeholders to support corporate, sector, and division objectives, including program performance and business growth.
To do this, they will leverage a solid understanding of the Northrop Grumman supply chain and be knowledgeable in the engineering, contracts, manufacturing, information technology, and mission excellence areas and how they impact delivery of supply chain materials and services.
The selected candidate will have a proven ability to engage with suppliers to resolve schedule and quality issues, contracts, negotiate pricing, etc.

Leading a team who will be responsible for the following essential functions: Leadership & Coaching: Manage diverse commodity teams through use of standard Supply Chain metrics and workflow management Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to the team in order to produce desired results (purchase order placement, purchase order compliance, affordability, on-time delivery) Successfully work in a cross-functional team-oriented environment Effectively operate as the Deputy to the Director of Supply Chain & capable of partnering with executive leadership Execution: Responsible for all phases of Sourcing including, business case for make or buy decisions, requests for proposals, source selection, negotiation strategy & execution, cost accountability, and delivery performance.
Responsible for developing and improving sourcing strategies to enhance price, quality, timing, and reliability outcomes Successfully execute strategic sourcing initiatives (LTPA, Right-to-Buy agreements, teaming agreements, etc.
) Lead, track, and manage Key Process Indicators (KPI) within Procurement/Subcontracts to ensure successful business execution Strong knowledge of GSC compliance to provide feedback and recommendations for supply chain policies and procedures as needed.
Able to manage multiple conflicting priorities Responsible for developing and improving sourcing strategies to enhance price, quality, timing, and reliability outcomes Basic Qualifications: Ability to work an amazing work schedule (4/10 Shift schedule: Monday-Thursday) Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7+ years of applicable experience in supply chain, business management, manufacturing, or other related experience.
Or, Master’s degree with a minimum of 5+years of applicable experience in supply chain, business management, or other related experience Plus: Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of time Strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, change management, and analytical skills Experience with specific regulations and compliance practices governing defense contractor supply chain activities (e.

For more information, please click on this link below: Northrop Grumman in Northridge-California - Northrop Grumman Salary Range: $149,400 - $224,000 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
