Environmental Health Safety Manager

*Primary Responsibilities* * Maintain and enforce company-wide safety policies and procedures * Ensure company compliance with federal and state safety and environmental regulations * Provide technical safety and health support to production and office personnel * Maintain corporate safety and health programs, and assess and recommend areas of improvement * Coordinate with Human Resources on worker’s compensation and return to work issues * Serve as the primary contact with all federal and state environmental agencies * Coordinate and facilitate regulatory inspections * Conduct hazard assessments and develop recommendations *Position Requirements* * Bachelor’s degree required * Ability to drive to and from several company locations * Strong knowledge of health and safety best practices and legal requirements * Ability to deal with regulatory agencies, advisors, and other outside parties * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Bilingual a plus, but not necessary *Prior experience with most of the following preferred:* * CALOSHA * CARB * SCAQMD * EPA * Fire Departments * Regional Water Quality Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.
00 - $95,000.
