In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our fleet units while upholding quality standards.
Your responsibilities will encompass supervising a team of 3-6 cleaning staff, performing routine inspections, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
*Key Responsibilities:* * *Supervision and Leadership:* * Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 3-6 cleaning staff members.
* Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
* Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient operations.
* *Fleet Cleaning and Maintenance:* * Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of fleet units, including vehicles, equipment, and facilities, to ensure they meet established cleanliness and safety standards.
* Coordinate cleaning schedules, tasks, and assignments to ensure timely completion of work.
* Participate in hands-on cleaning tasks as needed, setting an example for the team.
* Oversee the yard area including; Parking assignments, Cleanliness, and look of the area.
* *Quality Control:* * Conduct daily inspections of fleet units to ensure they meet company-defined quality standards.
* Identify and address any deficiencies, issues, or areas for improvement in the cleaning process.
* Collaborate with team members to develop and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.
* *Documentation and Reporting:* * Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, inspections, as it relates to time spent on task and thoroughness of job completed.
* Report on inspection findings, highlighting areas of improvement and successful adherence to standards.
* *Communication:* * Foster open and effective communication channels with team members, addressing any concerns, feedback, or suggestions.
* Liaise with upper management to provide updates on team performance, challenges, and improvements.
* *Inventory and Supplies Management:* * Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and inventory levels.
* Coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supplies are available for the cleaning operations.
* *Safety and Compliance:* * Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, protocols, and company policies.
* Implement and promote safe working practices within the team, minimizing risks and hazards.
*Qualifications and Skills:* * High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in facility management, cleaning, or a related field is a plus.
* Class C driver's license * Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and motivate a diverse team.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency in using technology and software for documentation and reporting.
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues promptly and effectively.
