*General Manager *
The General Manager position can at times be difficult but very rewarding when your guests’ leave full and happy.
I often compare it to captaining a pirate ship.
Your job is to wrangle all your team members, with their individual personalities and responsibilities together and provide a stellar dining experience for our guests.
All this while handling guest issues, scheduling, orders, upholding policies, and maintaining operating costs.
An ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in this or a comparable position.
They will be personable, knowledgeable in restaurant financials and how to make an impact on the business.
Ability to set and achieve goals, motivate staff is key to achieving efficient restaurant operations as well as maximizing production, quality and service standards.
Must be knowledgeable in both FOH and BOH operations and hiring for both.
You will be expected to lead by example and support your staff wherever needed.
This is a hands on management role.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to
* Meet SLR designated goals for food and labor costs
* Write Schedules for FOH & BOH to meet company goals for coverage and labor cost
* Manage ordering of product, packaging and administrative supplies
* Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
* Manage daily FOH & BOH restaurant operations
* Lead training of new team members, provide feedback for current team members to continue improving guests’ experience
* Provide a great dining experience for every guest
* Implement new policies and procedures
* Resolve guest issues
* Engage with guests in a friendly manner that contributes to a positive dining experience
* Be knowledgeable about menu, ingredients, allergens and anything else related to ordering
* Open/closing procedures
* Maintain a positive and professional approach
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $69,000.
00 - $73,000.
