Scott’s Malibu Market is an exciting new restaurant coming to the Malibu community! We are located in the well-known, _*Malibu Country Mart*_ shopping center, right next to Pepperdine University.
Our restaurant will provide Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Catering, along with a full Coffee/Pastry/Dessert program.
We are excited to bring a new fun, neighborhood gathering spot, right along the PCH.
As a gourmet eatery, we are looking to bring on enthusiastic leaders to manage our restaurant.
This current position is for an Assistant Manager, who will work directly with Upper Management, to help us open the restaurant.

This role will involve learning multiple responsibilities of operating the restaurant, including:
* Organizing, planning and implementing strategy
* Coordinating day-to-day operations
* Ensuring that company guidelines are followed
* Ensuring that goals and objectives are met
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
* Providing training to employees
* Delegating tasks to employees
* Supervising, leading and motivating employees
* Reporting any problems or accidents to upper management
* Helping with monitoring and tracking operating costs, budgets and resources
* Creating reports, analyzing, interpreting and presenting data
* Monitoring customer and client satisfaction
* Managing customer complaints and resolving their issues
*Requirements for the position:*
\*Must have at least 5 years’ experience working in management as Shift Supervisor, Manager or AGM in a restaurant/cafe.
\*Ability to flourish in a fast-paced and at times high-stress restaurant environment.
\*Radiant positive energy, outgoing personality, friendly demeanor who loves to get to know people and work as a team.
\*Demonstrate strong work ethic, responsible, accountable, and reliable for your actions.
\*Willingness to learn
\*Full schedule availability, with own transportation.
\**ServSafe Manager *Certification and knowledge of Food Safety mandatory
