EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
The BDM must have at least three to five years’ experience in field sales or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; and a clean driving record, as determined by our insurance company.
Must have intermediate computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher.

Develop the sales, product, and industry skills of each team member.
Regularly report on Team/Individual Results - Lead Quantity, Quality, and Revenue.
Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency, and Productivity.
Research new territories for prospective business opportunities.
In conjunction with the Branch Manager and Account Manager, BDM will initiate sales, marketing, and advertising programs.
Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer.
Coordinate and prepare proposals, enhancement packages, and estimates for new clients.
Agree to sales goals by Company growth and potential.
Uphold and promote all standards of safety as described in the Company’s policies, OSHA Regulations, American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z133, and Agriculture Department Laws.
Strategize for Canvassing, Cold Calling, and Prospecting by district and zone that is most effective to the nature of the business.
Meet weekly with the Branch Manager to review all bidding, sales, challenges, progress, etc.
Complaints are researched and responded to within 24 hours unless it is possible to complete them on the same day.
Perform other duties and special projects as required.
Demonstrates behaviors, which are consistent with the Code of Conduct and aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and shared values.
Reports promptly any suspected or potential violations of laws, regulations, procedures, policies, and practices, and cooperates in investigations.
Conducts all transactions in compliance with all company policies, procedures, standards, and practices.
Implement and exceed current Company policy, systems, and procedures of all Field Operations, Safety, Quality Control, and Technical Training Programs.
Excellent attendance record; follows sick and rain day procedures.
Wear appropriate uniform and PPE for job functions and ensure personal hygiene, keeping the vehicle, yards, and other work areas in good order.
Always represent the Company positively and professionally, maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with customers and staff; treat customers and co-workers alike courteously and professionally.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary role of the (BDM) is to lead a team of Business Developers to create qualified opportunities for the sales team, train other members of the BD team, and take on operational and administrative tasks to help perform and exceed expectations.
The BDM is to build and inspire the BD teams to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly/quarterly targets in addition to delivering feedback to marketing and sales operations about lead quality and process improvements.
Also, the BDM must agree to sales goals per Company growth and potential; as well as meet or exceed sales volume goals.
