The purpose of this position is to coordinate, manage, and/or assist the directors and assistant director in the planning and execution of the ministries and programs of the department of Church Relations; and specifically to assist the Pepperdine Legacy Partners’ (PLP) executive committee in service to the PLP mission to recruit students from Churches of Christ and raise funds to provide scholarships for such students.
Duties
PLP responsibilities: coordinate the annual meetings and attend the board's monthly meetings; maintain accurate records in Raiser's Edge; oversee the scholarship committee selection process; coordinate and oversee membership correspondence and newsletters; oversee the budget and fiscal responsibilities.
Coordinate and oversee a variety of educational events hosted by Church Relations for local church leaders.
Oversee specific aspects of Harbor, The Pepperdine Bible Lectures including but not limited to meal programs, food services, ticketing, and student employees.
Coordinate payments, speaker contracts, and requisitions for the department.
Hire and oversee the student employees for the office.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required.
An active member of a local Church of Christ.
Three or more years of general administrative experience; job-related experience with organizing, promoting, and coordinating events; experience with corporate payment systems and budgets.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required.
Preferred: Preferred experience with Raiser's Edge (fundraising), Simpler (accounting), Workfront (project management) and event registration systems.

This is a Regular, Nonexempt, 40 hour per week position.
Expected Pay Range: $25.
53 - $28.
36 per hour
The above pay range reflects what Pepperdine University reasonably expects to pay for this position at time of posting.
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
