Henry Mayo is in search of a Manager, Supply Chain Management.
*Job Summary:*
Responsible for managing Supply Chain operations and leading the Central Services and Materials teams.
The Manager will support the Supply Chain Director with accountability for daily receiving; inventory management; distribution; stock replenishment; mailroom; management of rental equipment; and charge capture processes.
Manages and trains staff to ensure regulatory and safety guidelines are incorporated into the daily department processes.
Manages operations within budget.
Responsible for ensuring that administrative controls are in place to provide appropriate stewardship over assets, supplies and equipment.
*Licensure and Certification:*
* Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) is preferred
*Education:*
* High School graduate or equivalent.
* Bachelors’ degree with course work in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Accounting.
* LEAN certification; or completion of some LEAN classes is highly preferred
*Experience:*
* Five (5) years’ Healthcare Supply Chain logistics experience managing a bulk and low unit of measure (LUM) inventory, and distribution within an acute care hospital required.
* Five (5) years supervisory experience managing warehouse and receiving, central supply and distribution and mailroom.
* Experience developing and managing departmental budget.
* Experience measuring departmental productivity with industry accepted Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
* Experience working in an environment where customer service is a priority.
* Experience working with a Materials Management Information System (MMIS).
*Knowledge and Skills:*
* Knowledge of leadership and management theories, principles, practices, techniques and methods.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with staff at various levels.
Must be able to facilitate meetings and lead in a team environment.
* Effectively uses enthusiasm and appropriate techniques to motivate associates to work towards departmental goals and objectives.
* Ability to analyze cost benefits, opportunities and risk associated with each solution.
* Must be able to lift, push and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
* Knowledgeable of medical products, medical devices, and physician preference items (PPI).
Proven ability to successfully provide project management skills for tracking, monitoring, measuring and sustaining supply chain initiatives.
* Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.
28 - $61.
25 per hour
