*JOB DESCRIPTION *
Title: Human Resources Manager
Mission:
Provide leadership, training and administration to develop a skilled, productive and challenged workforce and policies that support organizational excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Update employee files - process all status changes, maintain files, set up new files
* Process absence, leave, etc.
requests, follow up on outstanding requests and set up/maintain vacation schedule
* Process requests for employment letters.
* Process all benefits changes, adds, deletions and reconcile statements monthly, look after all outstanding benefits issues
* Investigate and resolve all outstanding claims issues for employees
* Respond to any miscellaneous questions, concerns for employees - coaching, improve employee relations and service levels
* Prepare and analyze weekly attendance reports
* Answer miscellaneous telephone inquiries such as employment verifications, job openings, agencies, contacts, etc.
* Perform any required exit interviews
* Prepare job postings, arrange classified adds, receive resumes and distribute, and maintain files, set up any appointments, announcements of new employees, telephone for recalls, correspondence for lay offs
* Perform miscellaneous office functions such as mail, faxing, copying, filing, data entry into H.
R.
system
* Conduct onboarding for all new employees
* Track new employees performance reviews and advise
* Daily time clock punch management
* Bi-weekly payroll processing
* Update employee handbook as required
* Assist site GM with administrative activities
Qualifications:
1.
Post secondary education or equivalent, preferably with Human Resource exposure.
2.
Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills.
3.
Maturity and team orientation.
4.
Generalist Human Resource experience, including employee relations and industrial relations.
Working Conditions:
1.
Occasional exposure to chemicals and noisy environments.

Long/flexible working hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.
00 - $85,000.
