We are looking for experienced, metrc saavy, and organized leaders to provide guidance, support, and training to our retail store in Chatsworth, CA.
The ideal candidates should have experience with team building, sales, track and trace, and vendor promos.
Candidates should also know how to use the Blaze platform and have some understanding of online sites such as Weedmaps, Leafly, Iheart Jane, and Google services.
Your main goal will be to facilitate the retail activity to maximize performance and grow the business as part of Superior Herbal Healths, LLC.
Continue to grow and branch out.
*Job Description* The Retail Shift Managers will oversee the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, managing core department members (Security, Budtenders, Fulfillment, Inventory, Cashiers) and managing all tasks related to retail.
This position reports to and is accountable to the director of retail sales and the director of compliance/hr under the leadership of our corporate officers.
The Retail Shift Managers provide leadership to members of the retail facility.
They keep tight controls of the senior management-approved budget and oversee operations according to established policies and procedures.
These staff member are ultimately responsible for overall building appearance, cleanliness, comfort, functionality, safety, security, inventory, and quality customer experience.
Finally, these positions are ultimately responsible for employees’ strict adherence to laws and regulations concerning marijuana, as well as all company rules, regulations, and policy and procedures.
*Manager Responsibilities:* * Lead and inspire the cannabis retail team.
Encourage growth, learning opportunities, and an environment of compassion & empathy.
* Build an exceptional team that will uphold and deliver our mission, vision, and goals to customers.
* Provide strategic direction and thoughtful leadership to the retail store, with a strong understanding of the market and customer needs.
* Meet or exceed sales goals, profitability, and operational excellence.
* Exceed the customers’ expectations by implementing and delivering exceptional service and ensuring Managers and team members meet the same expectations.
* Ensure that customer feedback, comments, and/or complaints in store and online, are addressed in a respectful, professional manner.
* Identify trends and opportunities to define changes in processes and procedures that drive operations and selling agendas.
* Clear knowledge and understanding of cannabis regulations (including Metrc).
Ensure compliance is executed in all operations.
* Foster a positive and productive relationship with all vendors.
* Manage staffing, scheduling, day to day operations, and processes.
* Monitor and manage inventory, product placement, and store presentations.
Work with the Vendors to raise awareness and increase sales.
* Implement selling programs and sell-through rates.
* Engage meaningfully in the local community through events, programs and partnerships.
* Ensure cash management procedures are being followed including; transacting, opening, closing, depositing, reporting, maintaining, and reconciling cash with POS system and all standard operating procedures.
* Develop training and reinforce service, product, operations, and management expectations through training and development of all team members with the help of HR.
* Other tasks as assigned by the director of retail sales or corporate officers.
*Competencies:* * Exceptional Customer Service skills.
* Vast knowledge of Cannabis and the Cannabis industry * Desire to learn about our products and cannabis therapies, and company structure.
* Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software and cash and inventory management.
* Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality.
* Fun attitude and strong work ethic.
* Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
*Manager Requirements:* * Must be at least 21 years of age.
* 2+ years of management experience including at least 2 years of cannabis retail management.
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required * Able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends with open availability * Excellent communication skills * Inventory management experience * High energy with a bit of hustle * Self-starter and very organized with open availability *Physical Requirements:* * This position operates in a professional retail store environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
* Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
* Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs.

of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting.
* Visual Acuity - Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts/details.
