Professional Beauty Supply Retail Store Manager (Salary plus Commission)

We are currently seeking a seasoned Retail Manager to join the team at our Professional Beauty Supply Store in Encino! *Overall Responsibilities* The store manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining customer service standards, oversees and is accountable for the operation of the store to ensure maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory and expense control, and employee management.
*As a store manager, you must have the following skills:* Ensure each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment and promptly resolving any customer concerns.
Supervise overall administrative duties for the store to include preparation of daily paperwork to assess daily, weekly, monthly and yearly sales.
Manage store inventory to include placing orders, inventory counts, sales promotions.
Ensure all pricing, SKU and scanning data is correct and done in a timely manner, planning and implementing store visual merchandising.
Supervise the maintenance of the store to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Oversee and participate in special store projects including assisting account managers in scheduling and hosting educational classes.
Promptness and attention to detail.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Professional appearance and manner.
Computer literacy and ability to lean new software systems.
Ability to manage staff - time off requests, employee schedules.
Ability to lift approximately 0-29 lbs.
