*Responsibilities:*
- Develop and implement effective and creative talent acquisition plans in collaboration with Store and District managers, including creating and posting ads, sourcing and recruiting, interviewing, generating offers, conducting references and background checks, and coordinating on-boarding and new-hire training.
- Develop, propose, review, and monitor compensation and benefits packages to aid in recruitment and increase retention.
- In conjunction with restaurant managers, develop, implement training to include topics such as: health and safety, DEI, customer service, organizational culture, etc.
- Liaise with the payroll processing service to ensure accurate timekeeping and pay practices are in place.
- Implement consistent team member relations and team member discipline programs and train restaurant managers in these processes.
Work with store managers to protect the organization from potential risk.
- Oversee team members records in compliance with the various regulatory bodies.
- Administer all leaves of absence and related communications and documentation.
- Work with restaurant managers to ensure restaurant team members comply with all health and safety regulations to provide a safe work environment and protect the organization from potential risk.
- Will eventually oversee the employee benefits program.
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of Human Resources experience, to include minimum 4 years of supervisory experience/senior position; or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been attained.
- Four years’ experience working in the fast-food or general restaurant industry.
- Experience with start-up operations preferred.
- SPHR or similar certification.
- Previous experience with Dayforce preferred.
- Ability to speak Spanish fluently.
- CA Labor Law expertise.
- Extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations that govern the fast-food industry.
- Advanced knowledge of the laws and regulations that govern food and restaurant safety.
- Ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with all levels of staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Extremely organized with engrained ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and dependability, including handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, bother verbally and in writing.
- Personal accountability and enthusiasm for achieving organizational goals.
