The Low Voltage Project Manager will be responsible for proposing, selling, and managing a variety of residential custom projects.
They will deal directly with the clients and provide them with guidance and training on their system.
_*Responsibilities:*_
The principal responsibilities of the *LV Project Manager* shall consist of, but are not limited to the following:
* Systems Programming:
* Control4
* Savant
* Lutron Homeworks
* Networking
* Surveillance
* Audio/Video
* Systems Installation:
* Networking
* Surveillance
* Distributed Audio/Video
* Control Systems
* Surround Sound
* Theaters
* Equipment Rack Wiring
* Motorized Shades
* Access Control
* Project Management
* Propose and sell systems to clients on small and larger scales.
Manage the project from sale to completion including coordinating payments through the office, scheduling crews and overseeing project progress.
* Test all equipment and ensure systems are functioning.
* Comfortable speaking to clients, properly guiding them to the best solution for their needs and instructing them on the correct usage of their equipment.
* Ensure that quality, performance and scheduling are on par with company standards.
* Service: troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues related to several areas of automation and communicate findings to clients effectively.
* Maintain a log of project services, issues and solutions along with any defective equipment requiring return.
* Interested in incorporating innovative or improved technology to better customers’ experience with their systems.
* Additional responsibilities as required.
_*Required Skills/Abilities*_
* At least 5+ years of experience performing LV installation and Programming
* Must understand proper rack wiring and systems deployment
* Positive attitude with supervisors and team
* Willingness to improve and grow with company.
* Must be able to communicate effectively with teams.
* Detail Oriented
* Excellent note-taking skills and ability to retain detailed information.
* Have and Maintain Safety Working practices.
* Must have reliable transportation.
* Valid Driver’s License
_*Physical Requirements:*_
* Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders.
* Crawling in crawl spaces and attics when required.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
_*Safety Requirements:*_
* Ensure that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is always worn when visiting any work site.
* Adhere to proper ladder safety protocols.
* Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and rules while working at any location.
* Wear appropriate work boots both while on site and off site.
