Job Summary
The HR Director at Mission Community Hospital will serve as a leader and manager of all Human Resources functions, including Benefits and Compensation, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Compliance.
The role requires an individual who has highly effective communication and problem solving skills as well as a comprehensive knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards
• Coordinate and direct recruitment and selection processes
• Create and implement policies and procedures for all areas of HR
• Counsel employees and respond to complaints or questions
• Foster a culture of engagement and productivity
• Analyze and evaluate employee performance
• Develop and monitor the organization’s compensation system
• Establish and maintain documents related to personnel activities
• Administer and oversee recruitment and outside employment agencies
• Monitor unemployment insurance and workers’ compensation policies
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• 7+ years of experience in Human Resources
• Advanced knowledge of California labor law and applicable regulations
• Proven experience in hiring, developing, motivating and managing personnel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
