Part-Time Litigation Attorney

This firm mainly represents public entities and candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with partners and other attorneys on legal projects, attend public entity hearings, meetings and trials.

Job Posting: Part-Time Litigation Defense Attorney Responsibilities: 1.
Defend and litigate employment lawsuits for mainly public entities 2.
Represent clients in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies and at mediation 3.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and third parties 4.
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, pleadings, motions and briefs Qualifications: 1.

from an accredited law school.

Admitted to practice in California required.
3.
Experience with employment law and/or general liability is preferred.
4.
Trial experience is preferred, but not required.
5.
Excellent communication, writing, and research skills.
6.
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
7.
A dedication to professionalism and teamwork.
Benefits: 1.
Hourly rate: $75.

Rate commensurate with experience and other considerations Candidate should have 3-5 years litigation experience.
The position is a flexible hybrid position requiring a few days of office attendance during the week with increasing remote work opportunities.
This is a part-time position requiring 20 to 30 hours a week.
Job Type: Contract Pay: $75.
