In 2019 the facility was designated as Meggitt’s Machining Center of Excellence with state-of-the-art multi-axis milling, turning, and additive layer manufacturing equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Trade Compliance Manager will lead the Trade Compliance team(s) and oversee a functional area in export and import activities.
Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the Trade Compliance program within the Group or Strategic Business Unit.
Ensures that global trade transactions are undertaken in compliance with import/export laws, regulations, and controls administered by the government agency as appropriate to the business location.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Involved in developing, modifying and executing Group Trade Compliance programs and policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company‐wide effect.
Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
Provides oversight and management of export and import compliance/operational issues; interacts with customs agencies to resolve regulatory and transactional questions involving import/export issues; reports suspected shortfalls in compliance and works on voluntary disclosures as requested Manages staff selection, performance, development and training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Degree is required Experience: 10+ years of experience in trade compliance 7+ years of supervisory experience, leading a trade compliance team.
