This was formerly known as the BodyBugg but the name was changed when it was bought by 24 Hour Fitness to help their members maximize tracking for weight-loss and exercise goals.
This multi-function fitness device differs from other performance monitors currently on the market, as it actually collects data coming off your body by measuring galvanic skin response, skin temperature, and heat flux.
The armband collects data using multiple sensors -An accelerometer measures motion, for determining your current activity.
A pedometer measures your step count, and when paired with data from the accelerometer, the device can tell whether you're walking or running.
