French Teacher for 2024-25
Do you have experience initiating, facilitating, and moderating classroom discussions in the French language to enhance students' social and academic language skills? The World Languages Department is committed to team teaching, innovation, and collegiality.
As a French Teacher, you will:
Teach multiple levels of French Language and Culture courses.
Prepare syllabi, homework assignments, and course materials in coordination with departmental colleagues for vertical and horizontal integration of curriculum.
Grade students' assignments and assessments and complete progress reports.
Participate in regular, purposeful pedagogical meetings and professional development.
Participate actively in the life of the School through attendance at events, committee memberships, and leadership of extracurricular activities.

What we’re looking for:
Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent degree in French, the teaching of French, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred);
Experience teaching French in a school setting.
Fluency in French.
Strong communication skills and demonstrated collegiality and organization.
Willingness to contribute to school life and activities in additional ways beyond the classroom.
Compensation: Anticipated base compensation is $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience.
