A nice family living in the Pacific Palisades is looking for a Nanny.
The person must be able to commit to Monday through Thursday, from 12:30pm - 9pm, with flexibility for Fridays and on timing.
Below are the specific requirements for the role:
Highly dependable, honest, with a good attitude – great with children
Previous experience with childcare – babysitting, nanny, or similar role
The typical schedule from Monday to Thursday usually begins between 12:30pm and 1pm, ending around 9pm or after the children are put to bed.
Occasionally, adjustments to 8pm or 8:30pm might be preferred.
Flexibility is crucial.
If the relationship and rapport are strong with the family, there's also the possibility of extending hours Monday through Thursday and adding Fridays for additional work.
Must have experience with young children (3 year old boy and 6 year old girl) and be willing to play with them, engage and read to/with them, take to parks/movies/playdates, and tidy up.
Light housekeeping tasks are expected as part of the role, involving duties such as tidying communal areas, organizing, helping with laundry and dishes, and ensuring a clean environment.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the Pacific Palisades (ideally, the candidate will have a driver’s license and be able to drive).
The ideal candidate will also be entrusted with picking up the kids from school and/or activities/playdates using the family car eventually.
The family is willing to take their time to find the right candidate for this position and is being incredibly thorough to find the perfect candidate; ideally, however, this person would be willing to start right away.
Fluency in English is mandatory
Pay commensurate with experience, starting at $25-$30/hour
Passport to travel internationally would be ideal but not required
