Referred Employee (New Hire)
Fulltime employee - $200 paid after 3 months.
Parttime employee - $100 paid after 3 months.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Drivers are responsible for pre-inspection check on all vehicles driving; making sure all wheelchairs or
any other devices are tied down properly; drive clients to and from destinations in a safe manner; must
be able to communicate with clients, dispatchers, and supervisors regarding concerns and/or issues.
Applicants must be familiar with using cellular phones and navigating around areas using a GPS.
Ideal
candidates should be self-motivated and responsible, have good communication skills, positive attitude
and willing to go the extra mile.
Education &Training:
High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
Valid CPR/First Aid card is
preferred but not required
Valid CA driver's license – Class C.
Must have a driver’s license for at least five (5) years.
No more than one (1) moving violation or one (1)
at fault accident in the last three (3) years.
Working Conditions:
Drivers must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
Driver must be able to assist clients
transferring from wheelchair to chair and vice versa.
Work schedule:
Work hours will vary Monday-Friday and include occasional Saturdays and Sundays.
Driver must be able
to work extra hours and on weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Driver must be able to pass the physical exam, and able to lift up to 100 LBS and push and pull up to 200
LBS.
Must be able to bend from the waist, pivot from waist, and be able to move from a standing
position to kneeling position and back to standing.
